contains recipes submitted by league members, with special notations
besides those recipes that are considered typically Southern.
The book also serves as an illustrated guide to things like appetizer
trees, cake decorating, punch rings, garnishes, napkin folding and table
settings along with a comprehensive series of kitchen charts.
Throughout the book, you'll find useful culinary tips and hints.
Recipes were kitchen tested by league members and friend, evaluated by
at least three testers and rated into one of four categories on the
evaluation scale. Only those recipes receiving the top categories are
included in the book.

edgewear to covers. There is an inscription in ink inside front cover,

For the most part, the pages inside are clean, but some have stained,
small and light. In addition, while the book is still well-bound, the
last rung of the plastic binding is broken from page 539 on.

Very good condition, light cover wear. On the title page is stapled a
pink piece of paper labeled "Errata" which seems to contain corrections
to some of the recipes. It is a copy, not an original, so I think the
authors must have added it. There are some check marks and circles on
that piece of paper. Binding is tight and pages are clean.
