Inducted into the McIlhenny Hall of Fame, Charleston Receipts was first published in 1950 and is the oldest American Junior League cookbook that is still in print.
The book contains 750 recipes, Gullah verses, and sketches by Charleston artists.
This is a hardback, spiral bound edition, with some light cover wear and corner bumps. The inside pages are clean and binding is tight. Appears to have never been used.
